George Michael Zepik
August 2, 1955 – April 28, 2014
It is with great sadness that the Third Michigan Volunteer Infantry, Company “F” must report the passing of our Chaplain, George Michael Zepik. George has been a member of the Third Michigan for many years and our Chaplain for nearly the last ten years. He will be fondly remembered by the group for his love of God, Civil War history, music, and story. There is no doubt that George was a friend to all in the Third and every member can recall many great memories and stories with him. His jovial personality was contagious and his laughter unforgettable. George will be most admired and remembered for his many inspired Sunday Church sermons to our group at reenactments as they were well presented and correct to the Civil War era. We will never forget you George. Rest in peace.
